Work out repayments in Ghana cedis — flat or reducing-balance interest, daily, weekly or monthly installments, with the full schedule. The same maths Akoma uses for real loans.

Flat interest charges interest on the original loan amount for the whole term. It's simple and common in informal lending in Ghana: a ₵5,000 loan at 36% per year over 6 months accrues the same interest every month, regardless of what's been repaid.
Reducing balance charges interest only on what's still owed, so the interest portion shrinks with every repayment. For the same rate and term, total interest is lower than flat — which is why the quoted rate alone never tells the full story.
Use the calculator above to compare both methods side by side, then create a workspace to issue the loan, share the schedule, and record every repayment against it.
